Join Us on Saturday 15 November at Sandwich Bay Bird Observatory for a Free Day of Walks, Talks, Crafts and Activities
Hen Harrier Action are going to Sandwich Bay Bird Observatory to bring you a day full of celebration for the Hen Harrier. This iconic upland bird species often travels south to this area of Kent in the autumn, so join us as we learn all about this magnificent bird before embarking on a walk to try and spot one! We’ll have family friendly activities and crafts followed by a talk all about the Hen Harrier, before going on a guided walk just before dusk to spot some birds of prey, and hopefully catch a glance of the “Grey Ghost”!
The event is on Saturday 14th November, with activities and crafts starting at 11am! The talk will be at 1pm, and walk start around 2pm. There will refreshments available, but bring a lunch if you plan to join us for the whole day. And it’s FREE! The walk and talk elements are bookable just so we can keep track of numbers, and you can find them at our Ticket Tailor and on the SBO website:
This event is for anyone, not just families, but will be family friendly.
All children must be accompanied by an adult, please come dressed for the weather!
See you there.
