Over the next few months, we are hoping to bring you a number of “pop-up” Hen Harrier Day events throughout the UK.
We are kicking this off with an upland 2–3-hour Wildlife Walk in West Perthshire, Scotland starting at 11am on Saturday, 12th August (or Glorious 12th). There will be guest speakers who will stop and chat to us along the way, and we even have a good chance of spotting a hen harrier, golden eagle, peregrine falcon along with other raptors and upland bird species.
Numbers will be limited as there are few parking spaces close to the site, so we will meet up in a nearby village at 11am and aim to car share from there. Details of the meeting point and walking route will be provided on booking.
Walking boots, waterproof clothing, food and drink are advisable. There will be some steep sections of path.
