Tagged bird update

Macha continued to spend time in the northern Pennines, not far from the Stainmore Gap. Unfortunately, Charlie died around a week ago. His body was recovered and is being sent for a full post-mortem.

Charlie is still in south Wales, east of Sarn, near Bridgend. Macha is still in the Pennines, heading north near Balderhead Reservoir.

Charlie continued his explorations of south Wales, first heading south towards Caldicot, before turning west to end the fortnight near Sarn, north of Bridgend. Macha hasn’t transmitted much in the last couple of weeks, but gave us some good data near to Balderhead Reservoir in the Pennines.

Charlie has had a busy fortnight, heading south from Bowland to reach the eastern end of the Brecon Beacons, most recently transmitting just north of Abergavenny. Macha continued to spend time in the Pennines, not far from Bowes.
